419 Tifway Bermuda Grass

  • deep green color with fine texture

  • requires full sun

  • must be propagated from sprigs or sod

  • dense growth that suppresses weeds

  • disease resistant

  • popular for golf courses and sports fields in the North Texas area

Palisades Zoysia Grass

  • forms a thick lawn with medium-broad textured leaf blades

  • requires less water and fertilizer than St. Augustine

  • moderate to good shade tolerance comparable to St. Augustine

  • produces a thicker turf than St. Augustine

  • drought-tolerant, but may turn brown
